For consideration, applicants must have the following key skills: MSc with a strong background in molecular biology Demonstrated experience with ancient DNA handling Demonstrated experience in generation of Next Generation DNA Sequencing data (in particular Illumina platform)

Scholarship Description: PhD Fellowship in Paleogenetics at the Centre for GeoGenetics, Natural History Museum of Denmark, on improving Next Generation Sequencing approaches for ancient DNA templates. A PhD fellowship is available at the Centre for GeoGenetics, Natural History Museum of Denmark, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen. The position will be available to commence following December 1st 2011.
