The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology ( NAIT) offers GITA Scholarship for Second year Undergraduates in Canada 2012

• Course Level:Undergraduates (2nd Year)
• Scholarship Provider: NAIT
• Scholarship can be taken at: Canada

Eligibility:

• Available to a second year student enrolled in Civil Engineering Technology, Forest Technology, or Geomatics Engineering Technology programs.
• Student applicants will have taken GIS/GIT (Geographic Information Systems/GeoSpatial Information Technology) as a significant component of their studies.
• Awarded on the basis of academic achievement while maintaining a full course load.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: Applicants must submit a letter answering the following questions: How can you contribute to GITA’s mission? What are your career goals and how will your education help you with these goals? How do you intend to use the funds awarded by GITA? Please note: The student recipient will provide a summary of his/her GIS related project and a picture and release both for use in GITA Alberta Chapter publication materials. The student is invited to accept an honorary seat on the GITA Alberta Chapter Education Committee for a one year term, if the student’s schedule allows.
